Privacy Policy

Sously is a hands-free cooking companion, built and operated by Loadcircle Ltd. This policy explains what the app and website handle and why. The short version: your recipes live on your device, and we run the app with no accounts, no ads, and no trackers.
1. Data we handle
- Your recipes and settings — everything you save, import, or cook (recipes, steps, timers, theme and voice preferences) is stored locally on your device. It is never uploaded to us and we have no access to it.
- Recipe links you paste — when you import a recipe by URL, the link is sent to our parsing service, which fetches that page and returns the structured recipe (title, ingredients, steps). Links and page contents are processed transiently and are not stored on our servers. If you add a recipe manually, nothing leaves your device.
- No accounts, no login — nothing to sign up for, no profiles, no personal dossiers.
- Voice narration — read-aloud narration is generated on your device by your operating system's built-in text-to-speech. No audio is recorded or transmitted.
- Purchases — the optional Sously Pro upgrade is billed through Google Play (see section 2).
2. Purchases (Sously Pro)
Sously Pro is purchased and billed through Google Play Billing. Payment card details are handled entirely by Google and never reach us or our servers. To recognise your Pro entitlement on your device, we use RevenueCat, a subscription-infrastructure provider, which processes purchase tokens and a random app-specific identifier. RevenueCat's own privacy policy governs its processing. We receive no name, address, or payment details.
3. What we never do
We do not sell your data, run advertising or advertising identifiers, embed analytics or tracking SDKs, build cross-app profiles, or require personal information to use the product.
4. Data deletion
Because your recipes and settings are stored on your device, deleting the app removes them completely. There is nothing further to request from us. Purchase records remain with Google Play under your Google account; you can manage or cancel Sously Pro in your Google Play subscriptions at any time.
5. Children
Sously is a general-audience product and is not directed at children under 13. We knowingly collect no personal data from anyone, including children.
